The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with running back Kevin Faulk. The versatile 11-year veteran has spent his entire career with the Patriots, helping them win three Super Bowls. Minnesota Vikings lineman Pat Williams echoed teammate Kevin Williams in telling a judge he didn't know an over-the-counter weight-loss supplement contained a substance banned by the NFL. Pat Williams, a 13-year veteran, testified Wednesday he first took StarCaps when he was with the Buffalo Bills, where a trainer told him it was a legal supplement.

Antonio Bryant's agent said the receiver and the Cincinnati Bengals were "very close" to an agreement on Wednesday, a move that would likely preclude the addition of Terrell Owens.
