What is YOUbeQB?
YOUbeQB.com is a multi-game Fantasy Football platform that allows players compete for fun and prizes while testing their play calling skills.
YOUbeQB’s Fantasy PlayBook is a new spin on fantasy football, allowing players to take control of teams, create the offensive plan, and compete head to head with friends on a weekly basis for cash prizes. It’s extremely easy to play for the newbie amateur Fantasy player, but challenges even the crustiest of veteran pros, offering many levels of strategy for drafting teams, creating playbooks, and setting match-ups.
YOUbeQB’s Fantasy PlayCaller is for the Fantasy player who wants that instant satisfaction of making the right call. Players interact during live NFL games, matching play for play with the real players on field. Call the right play and score. Score the most points against others in the league and win cash prizes. Players can compete amongst their friends, or join a pick-up league and make new friends.
Football Talk is YOUbeQB’s arena for sports social interaction (with an emphasis on the “action”). The YOUbeQB ‘Trash Talk’ feature, and ‘QB-Tron’ trivia engine allow players to wax poetic on the virtues of their favorite team, diplomatically disagree with others’ knowledge of the football facts, and win prizes.
How do I play YOUbeQB Fantasy Playbook?
Fantasy Playbook is an innovative new fantasy football game that allows you to draft and coach your favorite NFL teams, build a PlayBook for each team based on what you believe your team will run in a given situation and pit your teams and PlayBook in head to head match-up against other members of your league. Get ready to test your play-calling skills and knowledge of the game as you challenge friends and other fans in this ultimate fantasy competition. Each week every league of 6 teams will compete against one another. All players will choose one of their 4 drafted teams to play against another player; totaling 5 games played per player per week. The user can use each of their teams no more than twice for the competition. Based on the players total points complied per playbook, a winner will be determined. The overall wins and loss total for each player will determine the overall winner for that week.
How do I join and/or create leagues?
To join or create or join a league, go to the League Lobby (www.linktoleaguelobby.com) and either select Join Now on an existing league or select Create League at the bottom of the page and follow the prompts to get started.
What happens if I miss the league draft?
If you miss your leagues draft, YOUbeQB will auto-draft for you using our default team rankings.
How do I set my draft order?
To set your draft order, go to the Draft page by selecting the link to draft in the navigation bar. Once you are on the draft page, you can drag and drop teams so that they are drafted in the order that you’d like.
How do I create and edit Playbooks?
To create a playbook go to the Playbook Editor page by selecting the Playbooks button on the navigation bar or by selecting the red Create Playbook button at the top of the page. On this page you have the ability to create a new playbook or customize an existing playbook. To see all of your playbooks, click on the View Playbooks link. To customize your playbooks choose from the list of situations on the right hand side of the page. For every playbook that you create, you must at least have the Default Situation filled out.
How do I set my match-ups?
To set your matchups select the Match-ups link on the navigation bar. Once you are on the Match-ups page, you will see all of the games that you will be playing for the week (5). For each game, select a team that you would like to use as well as a playbook. Note: you can use each team no more that two times.
What happens if I forget to set my match-ups for a week?
Don’t worry, if you forget to set your match-ups for any given week, YOUbeQB will set them for you. YOUbeQB will base the match-up settings on the order in which you drafted your teams. Your first and second draft picks will each be used twice and your third draft pick once. Additionally, YOUbeQB will use the YOUBeQB default playbook if you choose not to, or forget, to set your match-ups.
How can I monitor my teams’ scores and performance/stats during live NFL games?
While games are going on you can monitor how you are doing by going to the YOUbeQB Game Tracker. Just click on the Game Tracker link on the navigation bar.
How is the Fantasy Playbook game scored?
Scoring of the Fantasy PlayBook is based on the accuracy of your playbook as compared to what actually happens during the game. The more play calls that you get correct, the more points you score. The points system for Fantasy PlayBook is as follows:
- Correct call Pass: 1pt for every 5 yards gained
- Correct call Run: 1 pt for every 2 yards gained
- Rushing TD: 6 pts
- Passing TD: 4 pts
- Correct Call Field Goal made 0-39 yards: 3pts
- Correct Call Field Goal made 40-49 yards: 4pts
- Correct Call Field Goal made 50+ yards: 5pts
- Correct Call Punt: 1 pt for every 25 net yards
- Correct Call Punt downed inside 20 yard line: 1 pt
- Correct Call Punt downed inside 10 yard line: 2 pts
- 4th down Go for it: 2 pts bonus for 1st down
- Interception thrown by your team: -2 pts
- Fumble by your team: -2 pts
- Your team sacked: -2 pts
How can I add/drop teams after the draft?
Roll over the Trades button on the navigation bar and a dropdown will appear that says Add/Drop. Click that link and at all times there will be 8 “Free Agent” teams available for the members of your league to add to their roster. A player must have 4 teams at all time so when adding a new team a player must drop an existing team from their roster.
How does Fantasy Playbook handle trades?
As in traditional Fantasy Football, you will be able to propose and accept trades of teams with other players in your league. Simply choose the teams that you’d like to trade and hit the Trade button. Once a trade is proposed it will be available for 3 days. The user to whom the trade is proposed can choose to accept or decline the trade. Users can have no more than 4 teams on their roster at any given time
Other members of the league have the ability to veto a trade, not allowing it to go through. Three members of the league or the league commissioner must choose to veto in order to block a trade.
If I’m playing in a Premium league, how am I billed?
YOUbeQB will bill you on a weekly basis based on the Premium level in which you participate.
How do I get my contest winnings out of my YOUbeQB account?
Go to your My Profile page and click on the My Account link. Once on the My Account page, click on the withdraw button and follow the prompts. The amount that you choose to withdraw will be credited back to you.
